Hi there and welcome to my blog! Before I get started just a little bit about me. My name is Rachel, I was born and raised in the beautiful State or Maryland. I got married to my husband in 2017 and thats the whole reason this blog exists. After getting married, we weren’t sure where we wanted to land and put down roots for our family.

We went back and forth from searching for homes to searching for land. After much deliberation, we finally realized that we would only be able to find everything we wanted that was within our budget if we built it ourself. So here we are!

I hope you’ll follow us along our journey of land buying and home building and the challenges and joys that come along with it! We cant wait to share our adventure!
